The Rrrrrrrs (pronounced with a tongue roll, 'rrrrrrr') are a fun, 'madcap
indie-pop' band based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. We play uplifting
songs about boring nights out, unfaithful women, the credit crunch and transcendental
happiness.

Rrrs is now a theatre troupe: Photographic evidence of our show at The Albany Pub last night will be up soon - here's what happens when the drummer's away and two blokes get tipsay. Thanks to Break on Through promotions for putting us on and letting us do what we did - we had a lot of fun and saw a lot of bemused/amused faces!

EP almost finished!
We have one more song to go before we finish our 3rd EP, 'Gee Whiz!'. We'll be releasing killer track My Valentino and kooky tune Forbidden Kiss as a double A-side, and addressing the dire financial state of affairs on our B-side Credit Crunch - out in May.

The Rrrs next EP, currently titled 'Gee Whiz!', will be launched at The Fly in London on June 16 - the same day that Soviet Valentina Tereshkova becomes the first woman in space back in 1963. Launch indeed!
Our next gigs are Mon March 3rd at The Gramaphone (60-62 Commercial St) in London and
Fri March 7th at Kelsey's Leamington Spa for Barnardos Children's Charity.

A mysterious package containing a Digidesign MBox 2 mini recording thinger came through the Casa del Rrrs post today, and we found it VERY strange. Little did we know; it turned out to be a PRIZE - we had been one of the five regional finalists for the
Reverb Record Makers 2007 competition sponsored by Soundcontrol and Digidesign! It was with our Underwear song. Wiiickid!
